What kind of patients may require this type of intervention?

Intervention is required for patients who have a slight or moderate manifestation of excess skin tissue in the upper eyelid.

In what consist this technology?

The execution of numerous cutting micro burns of the stratified skin of the eyelid. Each point of exposure (60 per eyelids) will then pass into the contraction phase, which will allow the skin of the upper eyelid to be re-dressed.

How does the procedure work?

Marking is performed using a dermatological marker as shown in the photo. Then an anesthetic cream is applied to the treated area
Radiofrequency radiation passing through the tip approaches the surface of the treated skin and forms an electric arc. The result is a micro-burn with a gradual retraction of the skin, which leads to the achievement of eyelid rejuvenation. The resulting effect is stable and intensified from session to session. The conduct of a prophylactic session on average 1 time per year allows maintaining the achieved results.

What are the possible undesirable effects?

There is a slight swelling of the eyelids and redness, they disappear on their own within 48-72 hours. Until now, no other significant undesirable effect has been described, but we are referring to a technique that has recently appeared on the market and there are no scientific publications yet in its application for this type of indication. Important is the fact of applying the cream or creams prescribed to promote the process of scarring after the intervention.

What is the cost of medical blepharoplasty ?
